Dec. 4th, 2008 06:35 pm[Piano music in the background of the scene. The PCD seems to have succumbed to that odd malfunction where it turns itself on. Again. The angle shows half of Itachi's room at Vincent's, with the shinobi seated on the floor, cross-legged and barefoot, an impressive assortment of weaponry spread in front of him on a cloth.
The ninja is carefully sharpening and cleaning each blade and setting it aside, taking detailed care with every weapon. Some of the tools are easily recognized, kunai, shuriken, a sword--but not the one Wari crafted for him. Others look more like shinto priest seals then weapons--these seals he runs his fingers over and occassionally does something with his fingers before putting the seals aside--some of them are recognizable as explosive tags, some of them the purpose is much more obscure.
Shadow comes up while Itachi is examining a scroll and proceeds to try to climb all over the ninja's lap and play with his ponytail. Itachi attempts to fend him off gently, but the kitten is very insistant, and keeps climbing Itachi's shirt. It probably hurts, but the man isn't flinching at the use of claws. Finally Itachi sets the scroll down, picks up the cat and turns the kitten to face him, eyes narrowed as he speaks sternly.]
You may have leeway with Sasuke, Shadow, but you are getting old enough to learn discipline. Now, behave before I make you believe you're a stupid pidgeon.
[The cat purrs and licks Itachi's nose, batting playfully at the man's bangs, and Itachi sighs. The feed times out.]
