[The PCD clicks on and a quiet, calm voice begins speaking. It's masculine and confident.]

Hello. I am newly arrived here. I have the gist of the situation--Apparently this place pulls people from different times and worlds to... Here.

Here appears to include killer bunnies.

Information pertaining to anything would be beneficial--lodgings however, are the most pertinent item of interest. As well as what other things one should expect from this place.

[A voice too distant to be heard says something and Itachi responds, equally muffled. A moment later the PCD clicks off.]

You know, there are three clinics if you need a place to stay~

I happen to have arrived with two others. All of us are adept at roughing it, but a place to stay is preferable to a night out int he elements.

Where might we find these clinics, Dearka?

They are located at [x;y], [x;y] and [x;y].
But Unohana-san's clinic to be quite full already.

[The sound of heavy breathing, then a strange face appears, almost human but with fangs, and solid golden eyes, then goes out of focus again]

[The voice is distorted on the last words, and the PCD clicks off.]

((OOC : Vincent met Itachi during his 'first stay' here and offered him part of his building to live in. They're not very intimate, but he's heard part of the story from Sasuke as well, whom he's met a few times.))

[Itachi's face is noticeably younger, the expression cool and detached. His voice is clear but bordering on indifferent.]

However I don't recall being here in the first place.

Who might you be? And how exactly did we know each other, assuming we did?

((OOC: <3 Sounds fun. My Itachi is... Uh... Kind of more of a jerk than the last one as far as I've seen. For now anyway. It's cool to interact with people who know him but that he doesn't know. <3 ))

At this time I have no intentions of things getting messy, if that's a consolation. That's up to him.

A little of the first, more of the second, and that I'm likely most of the third.

Perhaps it takes a certain amount of the third to be any of the first, in any case.

... I know you don't remember, but I know you were made aware of what happened... what I don't get is why you took such good care of Sasuke when he was in his child-state.

It seems inconsistent with what I've been told...

And by what I saw, as a child, he loved you more than anyone. He never asked for his parents, just for you. He loved you so much, like I love my own brother...

If you do care about him, which it's obvious that you do on some level, why are you just fine with him hating you so much?

Why would you ask a known murderer about his feelings or motivations, Alphonse-kun? And reveal someone important to you in the process. Exceedingly unwise.

I suggest perhaps a higher degree of paranoia the next time you think of approaching someone who may, in fact, be insane or sadistic and who is certainly dangerous. You are lucky I am in fact not insane or sadistic.

By your own words you only met me briefly. Tell me, what was the meeting like? What was your impression of me, that leads you to believe I care for him? Aside from, apparently, my actions in caring for him.

Sasuke was very attached to me when we were children. He idolized me and somewhat wanted to surpass me.

Why do you think I would answer that question, Alphonse-kun? Assuming you were even correct, what possible reason could I have to want him to hate me, if I care about anything but his ability to gain something I want?

((OOC: Personally I am sort of wanting to HUG AL. But Itachi is... A jerkface. I'm sorry. He came out a lot harsher than I'd originally thought he would, too. Oh Al, why must you hit so uncomfortably close to home? T_T))

[Al's eyes widen.]

It was only for a few moments... I hadn't even known that Sasuke had had a brother. I hadn't even known Sasuke very well at the time. During the event, I was turned older rather than younger, so I was taking care of quite a few of the children.

He ran to you, and hugged you. I remember you seemed surprised, but you hugged him back and picked him up... he was so happy to see you. He looked totally safe and loved, like everything was right in the world as long as you were there.

He looked at you like I look at my own brother.

You thanked me and you seemed... out of it somehow, like it had thrown you for a loop, which realized made sense later.

The only possible reason I could think of would be you thinking you either had something to gain by him hating you, or somehow him hating you was to his own benefit.

And yet you persist, Alphonse-kun, with only a kin slayer's word that I have, at the moment no interest in harming you or your loved ones? Why?

Wouldn't anyone look surprised and thrown if a person who was only supposed to be five years their junior suddenly became something close to fourteen years their junior? And apparently lost all memories of relevant events leading to their current tone of relationship.

Perhaps I simply do not find him worth killing, Alphonse-kun. Do you know why I killed our clan? Do you have any idea? Or do you simply know that I am the one who killed Sasuke's beloved family and left him alive among their corpses?

I gain by his hate; if he can hate me strongly enough to go through with what I want of him. And, apparently, he gains by his hate as well. He claims to have killed me, in the future, and that feat is not something I think he could accomplish without hating me very much indeed.

((OOC: Itachi's just like "OH SHIT. Is my cover blown THAT EASILY?" And is falling back on good old tried and true lying through his teeth.))
