12 - [Accidental Voice]

[The PCD has fallen and begun recording.]

"--You monster." [It's a woman's voice, shrill and angry and scared.] "How could you do this?"

"The clan's existence is an eyesore, Mother." [It's Itachi's voice but much younger, maybe very early teens, and it's flat and cold.]

"Don't call me that you murderer!" [The woman yells and there's the sounds of steel clashing followed by the woman's scream.] "FUGAKU!"

"... Mi... ko... to." [A man's voice, gurgling sickly.] ".... Run...."

[The woman yells incoherently and there's another clash of steel and a sick, organic noise and the woman's last choked words.] "...Monster."

"You are not...my... son..." [The man is dying, it's obvious in the sound of his voice.]

"Itachi!" [Voices from several direrctions, angry and shocked.] "You'll pay for this!"

"Then come at me." [The child Itachi's voice is completely devoid of emotion, uncaring. The sounds of another clash are cut off when the PCD is picked up and switched off.]
