I believe that I have gotten through to Al enough to make him realize the danger that he would place Sasuke in if he turns him against Konoha right now. I am trying to find out exactly what he has said to Sasuke up until this point. Hopefully, it will not have gone too far or there will be some convincing way to reverse it.

It seems that Al has indeed told Sasuke that you were acting under orders from Konoha when you killed your family.

I am trying to persuade Al that the best way to get Sasuke to dismiss that revelation is to make it appear as if you manipulated him into believing it in order to lure Sasuke into a trap. He may approach you about it if he listens to my advice. If you have other suggestions for him, I can present them.

Alright. I think your suggestion is a good one, it is what I have been attempting to spread for a while now anyway. If Al goes for it, it might be enough, though he may not wish to, as it will discredit him with Sasuke, perhaps indefinitely.

True. But to make the truth easy to disbelieve, one has to sacrifice a little credibility. At least if he were manipulated by you in Sasuke's eyes, the blame would almost surely fall on your shoulders and Al's intentions in telling him would not be questioned too far.

I will let you know what Al decides, and we can plan from there.

True. It would be the best option, but Alphonse-kun must decide. If he cannot be swayed to it, we will think of other tactics.

Indeed. I would not try and force a choice like that on him, and there are other ways to handle this if Al does not feel comfortable doing that.

Yes, I suppose he would think what he is doing is the best. He tends to act on feelings, not logic, when he is emotional over something.
